Well it has been a long time. First I had to drop out of the run class...very sad. So I haven't been running at all. Randy is working a new job. From 1 pm to 9pm..not great for training. But it is better for our lives with Randy off Graveyard shift. The travel job is going ok..a lot harder that I had thought. Way more admin stuff that I personally like. But it is ok. Well that is my little update for anyone who still reads this. See ya

Two in one month!!

Wow two post in one month!! So I have signed up for a half marathon clinic. I paid money for a group of people to torture and push me twice a week until the Royal Victoria Marathon in Oct. I am doing the half, 21.2 km.....I am nuts. This is part of my on going weight lost program. I had been doing really well and then..not so great. My goal is 40 more lbs. If anyone would like to join me we have only one class so I would love a friend to join me. And for the rest of my friends pray that I do not die. Well I will keep up up on the progress.

Merit Travel

Well sorry it has been so long. Learning a new job in a new field is so hard. For those of you that travel you have an edge on me..I have been almost no where!!! Across Canada in to Wash state and then London and Wales. I have never been to Mexico or Disney land so I am learning so much. When I get home I am so tired and my brain feels like it is going to explode. But I really do like it. I am there Monday, Tuesday Thursday and Friday. And on Saturdays I still work for a few hours at the shoe store. Can't let the shoe discount go!!! Plus I owe them money...to many shoes on the account.

Besides than not much is new I signed up for a half Marathon clinic. So I will be learning to run 21.1 k race. now that I am at a desk job I have to work harder to make sure my butt gets smaller and doesn't grow. So If any one would like to join me it is Wed nights at Peninsula Runners.

New Job

Well it is official I now work at Merit Travel!!! I will be reception and a travel agent in training. So I will have to get a passport. I start Monday April 14...my 8 Th wedding anniversary. I am nerves and excited. My normal thing when I start a new job. I will keep you updated.

Ok so I worked my last official shift at the shoe store...I cried..I had to give my key to the new guy. But Matt is great and I am on the fill in staff list...I owe them money for some shoes so I will have to work if off sooner or later!! And when I was starting to panic because I didn't have a job Ken from G&T told me that Brenda needs two more weeks off. God is Good. So that gets me to the middle of April. And next week I have an interview with the "Placement Group" a Temp Agency. So often you find full time work after you have been somewhere, That's how I got the Honeywell Job 9 years ago. So that is my news. Hope you enjoying my saga....

Well I still know nothing..my contract at Grand & Toy has been extend until April 1st. Brenda needs more time to recover so I hope she enjoys it..nice for me..more money in the house. I am not sure what God has planned but I know something will happen.

Well on a different note we were given a little suit for Kaden so he wore it to church a few weeks ago. He looked so great.

Still waiting

Well not much has happened since the last time I wrote except more stress...We want to get Randy away from the Empress but can't until he has something or I have some answers. I would like for me to work more, than Randy can go to school and look after the little man more. So If anyone needs a very hard working, smart great man to work with them or for them let us know. And of course we are praying for wisdom to find the right thing and go through the right doors. So please keep us in your prayers and thoughts. Thanks

We will See

Well some news... I recieved a phone call from my friend Sharron asking me what my plans are in the future. I said we were still looking and applying for jobs. And She asked me what I thought about being a reception/Travel agent in training. I had never thought about it before. So I called her boss Paul the next day and we talked. So some time this week he will call me and arrange a time to get together and see if it will work for all of us. The more I think about it the more I like the idea of it. Paul and I talked about When I was avaliable and he seemed ok with my limeted hours. So here is hoping and praying that it will work out. Thanks for reading!!

changes

Well a few thing have happened in our live...I with great regrett had to leave my job at the shoe store. I really enjoyed my job and I Love the family and people I work for and with. But the hours just didn't work for day care So if any one has a part time job for tuesdays and Thursday from 8:00 am untill 4:30 I can work it. so that is my life at the moment. Sorry such a short post. But is anyone reading this any how. No comment have been made lately.

Christmas and a New Year

Well I was able to log on so I thought I better update. We had an OK Christmas lots of sick days.. tis the season for that. On the up side we didn't get the holiday 10 lbs..because we were not really eating and when we did it didn't stay for long. The Little Oak man loved the whole season this year. He really got in to it. We had the church Christmas play and I played "Holly Berry" the unsaved shop keeper and Kaden class had to come in and say hello to Ms Berry and then sing me a song..and I was supposed to look like I didn't care...well the Mommy part of me took over and I was just so proud of him. He said his lines and called me Ms Berry just like every one else.....We had lots of talks about when Mommy was on stage she was Ms Berry not mommy. And then He had his preschool concert very cute. They sang 4 songs and then Santa come and they got gifts. And then snacks and treats. And all the parents were given and ornament for the tree with a picture of them on it..we proudly come home and put it on the tree!! Had dinner here with both Mom's and Randy's Dad and Carol. Good food!! and them most of this week we have worked and been home sick. So that was last year. If I can keep logging on I will update more often.

Third birthday!!!

for what ever reason I can't seem to logg on my computer..but at my friend house i can...so a quick up date. The little man has turned three!!!AHAHA where has the time gone. We had a great time. Because it was raining ( we have never had that before) we had to have two partys. One for friends and one for family. Lots of fun at both.

still having trouble loging in

Well I have not updated in a while and it has nothing to do with Facebook!! Life is crazy busy. I am working three and a half days a week and the rest of the time is filled in with friends,family and trying to run/and or swim. We did a few things this summer... worked for a week at Camp Imadean. Loved it!! Then the day we left camp when to Nan. to see Nicole, Kristy and Ang Collins. A little reunion and I locked my keys in the Car with the little man inside who was just walking up from a nap( so at his most understanding time of the day...noo) Kristy pulled a "Mcgiver" and got them out. I think she has done it before!!! and we have been to Powell River to visit a few people but that was about it.

So Out Fall routine has started..the little one has started Pre school. He loves it!! Mom has found it a little hard but he loves it. On the 24th of this month he will turn Three..such a little man. And talks like a four year old or so I have been told. Strangers think he is a lot older than he is because of his speech. But Look who is Mother is..I am never at a lost for words.

Well I got signed in the first time but..I have nothing to write about. Running is good, summer has been alright given the weather. We have been to the beach a few times with Aunty Amy. Here are some great photos. So I hope I will be able to update more soon.

Blog problems

I would update this more but I having a very hard time logging in. I have to go to some one else blog and make a comment them I can get in to mine. But I am in now.

So I went to Camp Imadean for the first time this year. It was July 14-21. the week it rained!! But that was OK. I had a tone of fun...I was a teacher and this was my class, 24 great girls. The camp was intermediate girls. So 9,10,11 year old girls. And if any of you girls are see this know that I miss you!! Well I should get on with my day.

I did It. I finshed my first Triathon We had so much fun!! We left victoria about 12:30 Sat. got as far as mill bay before we stopped for lunch..Subway. Then drove up to Qualicum and the ravensong rec center. What a great center..very nice pool. We got our shirts and numbers 188 and went to bike check. And I found out that my handle bars we totaly loose. So had to get them fixed. Then it stared to rain...we were going to go for a bike ride, but none of use were keen to ride in the rain. So we went to the hotel and checked in. Nice room but weird. It was the managers suite but had been chenged to a room. The front door was in the laundry room and then there were all these doors that were locked and then 29 stairs in a sprial style stair case to the kitchen. But it was only 90.00 for the three of us so about 30 each. then we went back to the rec center and it cleared up so we walked the trail that was the run.

YAAA HOOO

We got a call today saying that we made it in to the race!!! So training is really back on!! I had a little bit of a slack week...well three days in a row!! I even had chips. So we went for a ride tonight and I will swim and maybe run tomorrow.

We went out to a movie and the babysitter said that he was really good and went to bed no problem. When we came home he must of heard us and woke up so we brought him out and like two min later this is how he was!!! SO CUTE!

AHHHH

Well people I have three weeks until I might be doing the tri...ya you read that right...might. We have hit a little snag. We Janet, Julie and I sent our paper work in almost two months ago. about 6 weeks ago I said to the ladies that I didn't see our names on the confirmed lists. So Janet said she would send an e-mail to see why. Well the next morning she sent a note out and then took her daughter to school. On the way back see picked up her mail and then sat down at the computer and saw a note back saying that She ( the lady who is in charge of registration) had not seen ANYTHING from us!!! Then Janet looked at her mail and saw our envelope. Not enough postage!!! So Janet called the lady told her that story about the postage and about how it is my first tri and was there any thing we could do. Well we are on the wait list....#2,3 and 4. The lady is number two!!! She also said that in the 12 years that she had been doing this every one on the wait list has gotten in!!! So the race is three weeks away and we still have not heard. We are hoping to hear this week. If not there is another one July 15 but is is longer and harder and STARTS AT 6:30AM!!!! So pray please...I have worked so hard and really want to do this. A great week

Well we have had a great week. First the Victoria Day Parade. It was nice and Sunny but very long. The little one did really well and even "joined in" a few times. Meaning that he ran out in to the middle of band and groups. One Pom Pom girl saved him..He ran out and would not come back and the band keep marching , He was on one side and I was on the other, but I wasn't going to run in to the middle of the band so a Girl just add a few steps to her dance and picked him up and gave him to me. The crowd loved it!!! So that means He loved it...He is MY child after all. Any thing for a crowds reaction.

Then the big man took an extra day off so we went to the Park and Petting Zoo, little guy didn't really like the goats but loved the peacocks (lots of displays and fights) and pig. And then we went to the dog Park and had a good run around. So all and all a good Week.

I even got all my training in, two more days of work and then I get a rest day!!! Lots of Running and biking and two days of swimming. Every muscle is feeling it. Well I am off to bed to get some much needed sleep.

The down side of a Dog

Well it has been a LONG week. At the start of the week the little one was getting up a 6 am. Now for a lot of you this is the norm but for this house it is not. We are 8 to 9 people..He doesn't go to sleep until 9pm and not really having naps much anymore. So Mommy was tired and so was he so I was a little slow on why he was waking up...too much light in his room.we have a dark shade in his room but the edges are not all the way to the edge of the windows so up went Black bags on his window looks like crap but much better today it was 8:30 before he got up!!! Bags went up Wed night. OK so Wed was a killer day. Monday night when I was putting Tia The dog to bed i notice that there was a sticky spot on her hip. I thought it was Yogurt ..the kid had tossed it earlier in the day so I thought that it had landed on Tia. So in the morning Tia had started to chew it so I took a cloth and sort of wiped it off, then went to work. By Wed morning that spot on her was raw so before I left for work I gave her a bath and noticed that the sticky spot was not coming off. So I sent little man to Nana's and went to work( He is still getting up a 6 at this point) when I got to work I started to worrying about her so I called the Vet and they were really worried ,on my lunch I took her to the vet with the thought that it would be about $90.00. went back to work and after work I went and picked up the kid and went to get the dog . 1.5 hours and $250.0 it was a hot spot?? What the heck is that!! I guess there was a bug bite so some itchy spot that got infected!!! so drugs twice a day and a bath every three days for two weeks...like I don't have enough to do.
